1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Invoice OCR ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Service Description

Invoice OCR provides automated optical character recognition (OCR) and data extraction from invoice and receipt documents. We use AI to extract vendor names, dates, amounts, and other relevant information.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Upload only documents you have the right to process
  • Not upload illegal, harmful, or malicious content
  • Not abuse or overload the Service
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Verify extracted data before using it for important decisions

4. Data Accuracy

⚠️ OCR is not 100% accurate. Always verify extracted data.

While we strive for high accuracy using AI, OCR can make mistakes. We are not liable for any errors in extracted data. You are responsible for verifying all information before using it for accounting, tax filing, or other critical purposes.

5. File Deletion

Original uploaded files are automatically deleted after 30 days. Extracted data (vendor, amounts, dates) is retained unless you delete it manually. You can delete any receipt or your entire account at any time.

6. Usage Limits

Free tier limits:

  • File size: 25MB per file, 100MB per batch
  • Uploads: Reasonable fair-use policy
  • We reserve the right to implement rate limits to prevent abuse

7. Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Use the Service for illegal activities
  • Upload copyrighted material you don't own
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service
  • Resell access to the Service
  • Use the Service to process others' private documents without permission

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

  • Incorrect OCR results or data extraction errors
  • Data loss (though we make reasonable backup efforts)
  • Service downtime or interruptions
  • Financial decisions made based on extracted data

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service, or engage in illegal activity.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
